Types of
Recount:
1.
Personal Recount - retelling of an activity that the writer/speaker has
been personally involved in (e.g. diary entry etc).
2. Factual Recount - recording the
particulars of an incident (e.g. report of a science experiment, police
report, news report etc).
3. Imaginative Recount - taking on
an imaginary role (e.g. a day in the life of Roman slave; how I invented...).
Then I
learned about language features and there're 3 part in recount.
-Orientation = When who what where
-Eventsaction = verb/past tense, linking words to do with time, specific
participants.
-Reorientation = After that teacher assigned
to identify genre of text and discourse markers.
Finally, In
my attitude this lesson is very benefit But this lesson is very hard for me
because I didn't like to read the long text and the text wasn't interesting but
the teacher taught reading skills to me . It's made to easy understand
translation to know the story.
