            Since, I learned English Reading Strategies subject. I learned about a healthy diet, news stories, today's technology, fashion, west meets east, scanning, extensive reading, read faster, paragraph reading strategies and classic Ann Landers.

            

           The lesson is very useful and important very much. I can use reading strategies skills to read faster and understand main ideas. I think the vocabulary is difficult. I couldn’t speak pronunciation correctly. I opened dictionary online.  I try to do my best.

             

           In my opinion, a healthy diet, fashion and news stories were easy for me. Because vocabulary is not difficult and story easier to read and understand.

             

           I thought scanning, extensive reading, read faster and paragraph reading strategies were difficult and I did not understand some content. But I solve my problems by do exercises myself. I need more practice reading .Sometimes I asked my friends and found the some vocabulary before class. Sometimes, I felt bad that I can't did exercise and not understand it, but I tried to practice and asked my friends about each problem.

Classic Ann Landers

             Last Monday 14th November, I learned about Classic Ann Landers.  The teacher gave me the handout. She assigned us to read letters that someone sent to Ann Landers. She opened the Cambridge dictionary to find some words for teaching us about pronunciation and meaning of its. 

            

          I meet the vocabulary are difficult and I did not understand some content. I used skimming, scanning, finding the main idea. Then, she assigned me to do exercise. I got many vocabularies. I cannot do the exercise of this unit. I found difficult words, phrases and main idea.

             

          Next, I read the letter to Ann Landers. After that, the teacher asked us to make the group and write the response. This is the response that I read.

             

          I solve my problems by do exercises myself. Sometimes I asked my friends and found the some vocabulary before class. Sometimes, I felt bad that I can't did exercise and not understand it, but I tried to practice and asked my friends about each problem.

Paragraph reading strategies

                       Last Monday 7th November, I learned the paragraph reading strategies "books and novels". The teacher gave us the handout and assigned us to do exercise 2 that read the questions and then skim the descriptions for the answer. I did it quickly. And then, she gave corrective feedback.

              After that, the teacher told us to summarize eight short describe of books and novel with friends.Then, she opened the Cambridge dictionary for teaching us to pronounce some words follow.

              I used the skimming, scanning, and reading faster for read eight short describe.I usually read every word.I think, I found the obstacles for read faster. I felt happy for this lesson.I can’t answer the question correctly but I will try my best.

"Extensive reading continues" and "Read faster"

            Last Monday 31^st October, I studied about “Extensive reading” that continued from last week ago and started to learn about “Read faster”. The teacher talked about the  homework.Then, the teacher told us about “fluency is more important than accuracy.” Before she was corrective, she opened the Cambridge dictionary for teaching “how to pronounce” and “what is the meaning” of the words reluctant, effective, consistent, elective, and acquire.

            After that, she gave us the handout that was about “Read faster”. Before I learned this lesson, she told us to speak with my partner about “How do you improve your speaking, listening, and writing skills” and “How do you read in English”. I did the next activities that about “Hints for reading practice”. First, the teacher asked us to read the passage so fast and do not stop. Then, we answered the questions about this story.

          Then, the teacher assigned us to think and talk with my friend that was about “What are obstacles to faster reading. So, I told my friend that “I think we may be worrying the meaning of difficult words that we don’t know while we read.”

 

              I found the difficult word that I didn’t see before. So, I solve this problem by guessing the meaning from the context. I found the faster reading that was easy and good for me because of it made me used the time for reading decrease from the past.   I used skimming, scanning, and guessing the meaning for read in this less.          

           

Extensive reading

            Last Monday, 17th October 2016. I learned English Reading Strategies subject. I studied about extensive reading. I read about Simple read and I answered question in exercise.I discussed the question with partner. I practiced reading skills. I answered the questions without using a dictionary. I wrote keyword in the passage. I completed each sentence with the correct word.I talked to a partner.

Scanning

          Last Monday, 10th October 2016. I studied scanning. I read about Hotel dining. I practiced reading skills. I learned a new vocabulary. I did exercise and answered the question about Reader’s Digest, January, Index, information from job,flight,house advertisement,TV programmed, Light Plane Crashes and Biological.

              I completed the sentence and discussed the question with a group. Finally, I read and scanned the biography to locate the answer.

            Last Monday, 3rd October 2016. I studied about West meets East. I answered question in exercise. I practiced reading skills. I learned a new vocabulary. I completed each sentence with the correct word. I talked to a partner and answered the question about celebrities, food, and products from Asia. 

      

             I learned about West meets East. I completed the sentence and discussed the question with a partner. Finally, I read the “ Expat in Asia” and answer the question.

Fashion(continue) and West meets East

            Last Monday, 26th September 2016. I tested Midterm. I It was the eighth course of this semester. I studied about fashion continue. I answered question in exercise. I practiced reading skills. I learned a new vocabulary. I completed each sentence with the correct word. I talked to a partner and answered the question about fashion. 
      
             I learned about West meets East. I completed the sentence and discussed the question with a partner. Finally, I read the “ Asianization” of the United States.

             In my opinion this exercise was difficult but i solved this problem by finding the definition of the word from dictionary.I use finding references and guessing the words meaning from the text.My attitudes towards the lesson are interested and happy.             

                  

Who should decide what hairstyles students have-teacher,parents, or the students?Why?

              In my  opinion, I thought  teacher should decide hairstyles students. Because,students have style different. But when students are in school. They should  follow rules of the school for regularity and neatness.

Fashion

              Last Monday, 12th September 2016. I learned English Reading Strategies subject. It was the seventh course of this semester. I studied about fashion.I read about splitting hair and I answered question in exercise.I practiced reading skills.I learned a  new vocabulary. I completed each sentence with the correct word.I talked to a partner and answered the question about fashion. Finally, I explained my favorite superstar.

                  

           I learned the pronunciation of many word such as bikini, miniskirt, sarong, jeans, T-shirt and necktie. I learned the history of bikini, miniskirt, sarong, jeans, T-shirt and necktie.            

           My teacher gave the handout about fashion to us. She told us to do exercise PRE-READING1. I learned new vocabularies such as halter top, fishing stocking, high heels and platform shoes.              

           

           She told us to do exercise PRE-READING2. This exercise was about check the sentences are you think are true before you read the passage.It made me know my knowledge background.

I studied about technology.I read about researchers worry as teens grow up online and I answered question in exercise.I practiced reading skills.I learned a  new vocabulary. I completed each sentence with the correct word.I talked to a partner and answered the question. Finally,I wrote a text message.

             I thought this lesson is very useful and so important because now a day is a digital world that advance in technologies so we should learn and use it to benefit the most.                        

            

           I thought 6-7 hours per day using the Internet too much, we should take time to do things that are more focused on the phone. A look at the screen too much can have adverse effects on the eyes.                          

            

           I thought everything can be communicate by e-mail. Because,important e-mails can be helpful if you need to refer back to what someone said in an earlier message and E-mail is a good way to get your message across when you need to get in touch with a person who is hard to reach via telephone.              

           

          If people lied to me online about their age or appearance, It would bother me.Because, the old rogue form or nature of the online world is deceptive and hide the truth.
