Fashion

              Last Monday, 12th September 2016. I learned English Reading Strategies subject. It was the seventh course of this semester. I studied about fashion.I read about splitting hair and I answered question in exercise.I practiced reading skills.I learned a  new vocabulary. I completed each sentence with the correct word.I talked to a partner and answered the question about fashion. Finally, I explained my favorite superstar.

                  

           I learned the pronunciation of many word such as bikini, miniskirt, sarong, jeans, T-shirt and necktie. I learned the history of bikini, miniskirt, sarong, jeans, T-shirt and necktie.            

           My teacher gave the handout about fashion to us. She told us to do exercise PRE-READING1. I learned new vocabularies such as halter top, fishing stocking, high heels and platform shoes.              

           

           She told us to do exercise PRE-READING2. This exercise was about check the sentences are you think are true before you read the passage.It made me know my knowledge background.              

            In my opinion this exercise was difficult but i solved this problem by finding the definition of the word from dictionary.I use finding references and guessing the words meaning from the text.My attitudes towards the lesson are interested and happy.

This is exercised  solve the anagrams about hair.

              In addition,the teacher taught about previewing picture,scanning, skimming, guessing the words meaning from the context,and making inferences.

            I think the lesson is very useful and important very much. I can use reading strategies skills to read faster and understand main ideas. I think the vocabulary is difficult. I couldn’t speak pronunciation correctly. I opened dictionary online. I try to do my best.
